Availability & Funding
Rachael is a certified, practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Rachael provides a number of flexible, family-centred options for families to access services.
Availability
Rachael Unicomb provides a mobile speech pathology service for individuals in their home/natural environment. Visits are made to your/your child's home or other environment (where practical/applicable) suited to your/his/her needs.
Rachael aims to provide flexible services to families that need them outside of typical working hours (e.g., late afternoon appointments, Saturday appointments).

Rachael is able to deliver services face-to-face.
Rachael is also able to deliver any of the services mentioned in this website via telehealth (Zoom). You do not need special software to access Zoom, just a computer with a webcam or other tablet type device (e.g., iPad or similar).

Funding
Funding is available through Medicare (via Chronic Disease Management Plan for eligible clients). Some children are eligible for a Medicare rebate through the Chronic Disease Management program. Access to this program is through your child' s GP or Paediatrician. If you have registered your details with Medicare, Rachael is able to process your rebate for you as soon as you have paid your appointment invoice in full.

Rachael is also able to provide services to self-funded NDIS participants. Rachael is not an NDIS registered provider and can therefore not see agency or plan managed clients at this time, only self-managed clients.
Private rebates are also available to individuals with private health insurance which includes speech pathology services. Rachael is unable to process your private rebates, and it will be your responsibility to put through a claim with your private health provider once you have paid your invoice in full.
